Domenico Vacca is the son of Giovanni Vacca, a fashion entrepreneur in the making, who emigrated to Canada in 1948. The tailored fashion company, "Giovanni Clothes" was founded in 1965 by Mr. Vacca himself. The younger Vacca always worked there as a teenager then officially joined the company in 1984 at the age of 20.

To this day, Domenico Vacca conducts business meetings with his clients all over the USA and Canada presenting trunk shows at hotels or office conference rooms with all the major designer fabric names like ERMENEGILDO ZEGNA, DORMEUIL, CERRUTTI 1881, LORO PIANA, VITALE BARBERIS, SCABAL, etc. for suitings and for shirtings THOMAS MASSON, ALBINI, and TESTA.
